I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
